2016-17 Rotary Club Of Tolo Harbour PRESIDENT SPEECH

Dear all,

A wonderful year has passed and before we progress onto the next Rotary Year, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone whom we have been working with.

2015-16 has been a good year for our club. It has also been a good year since we were involved in many activities such as our club signature projects: Rotary Drama Competition, HK Students Chinese Calligraphic Competition as well as many charity events.

The present success of Rotary Club of Tolo Harbour would not have been possible without the leadership of all our Past Presidents and full participation of club members. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Past Presidents and club members for a job well done.

I sincerely accept this important role as President of Rotary Club of Tolo Harbour for the Rotary Year 2016-17 and together with the strong support of my committee members aligned with the new Rotary International Theme- “Rotary serving Humanity”. We will strive to achieve the Club Goals as well as drive to promote club membership and increase the numbers of community service project like the Drone school competition.

Last but not the least, I would like to share a quote with you from Henry Ford, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” I deeply believe all the members of RC of Tolo Harbour are bond by this with heart.

With this I would like to wish everyone a blessed, prosperous and a great year in 2016-17 ahead.
